This digital download showcases some of the early work composed by Ritchie Tunstall, which is heavily Samba Reggae and Afro Brazilian influenced. The track ‘Maracalypso’ is a new hybrid style of rhythm unique to KATUMBA. The track ‘Gordo’ written by Brazilan Mestre ‘Eden Paulo’ and adapted by Ritchie features as a sign of respect and gratitude to the huge influence Eden's music has had to the samba community across the world.
