In response to recent community challenges and the spread of misinformation that led to concerning incidents of racism, Islamophobia, and xenophobia, we’ve created a special space for healing and connection. These sessions are more than just drumming classes – they’re a journey back to our shared roots through the transformative power of music and movement.

Our sessions are proudly led by our Co-Founder Juliana (@julianabrazilmovement), who brings authentic Afro-Indigenous traditions and practices to her work,

Our ‘Routes & Roots’ sessions blend several powerful elements:

  • Accessible Afro-Brazilian Indigenous Drumming: Experience the joy of making music together with our welcoming approach to percussion
  • Movement Exploration: Connect with your body through guided movement practices
  • Mindful Practice: Discover techniques that support both physical and mental wellbeing
  • Cultural Understanding: Learn about the rich Afro-Indigenous traditions that form the foundation of our practice
