Drumming Group Liverpool - Drumming Group Liverpool

If you are POC/ part of the Global Majority, then come see what the Katumba Drumming & Movement Buzz is about!!

Meet the founders, learn the Katumba beats and moves and have a great time!

No experience needed, come try the basics of what we offer: we’ll take you on a journey of body percussion, drumming and some movement to get your body ready to wear our drums!

Expect to feel uplifted, inspired, full of energy and connected to other People of Colour in Liverpool!

 

Details:

Please arrive for registration at 10:00am. The session will start promptly afterwards.

Wear comfortable clothes and trainers or feel free to come bare foot!

Please email us prior to the session if you have an injury or condition which may affect your movement or ability to wear a drum.

 

Tickets – £12:

This is a non-funded event. We are a not-for-profit micro-organisation. To cover our costs we have a ticket price of £12.

If you are unable to pay this rate, we have ‘pay what you can’ tickets available. We appreciate whatever you are able to give in order to support us to continue making work with our Katumba community and beyond. Please do not let finances be a barrier to you attending.

Water, comfy shoes and clothing, and we’ll also have water on tap for you to refill your water bottles.
