Lantern Making
Of course, the Halloween Carnival Parade takes place after dark – and illuminations and lanterns are going to be a massive part of creating the incredible atmosphere and mesmerising experience!
Instead of watching, you can CREATE your own lantern and BE THE SHOW!
You will be part of the Carnival Parade, displaying your work of art lantern to thousands of onlookers!

This is a fantastic group, individual or family activity, with a memorable finale, and a beautiful lantern to take home whether you take part in the parade or not.
We are proud to say that it is wheelchair accessible and buggy friendly.

With just over a week to go, book your tickets now!
The duration of the workshop is 2-3 hours with a short break.
Arrival from 10:40am for an 11am start.
Ages 7+ (children must be supervised by an adult).
1 ticket per lantern.
If you can’t attend the parade, we can invite someone to parade for you in your place. Your lantern can then be collected later (if you wish!)
Feel free to bring a packed lunch!
Venue is wheelchair and buggy friendly.
Parking available on Windsor Street and in John Archer Hall car park.
