Katumba is a drumming and movement group based in Merseyside. With over 100 members from all over the globe, our mission is to celebrate diversity, multiculturalism and wellbeing through powerful music and moves!
Performance
Vibrant performances range from an energetic 8 piece to a massive roaming carnival! Our colossal sound fills the streets and biggest festival stages.
Workshops
Our fantastic team of experienced teacher / facilitators are highly skilled and have led classes from early years (mainstream/SEN) to professional level around the UK and worldwide.
Venue Hire
Our spacious and atmospheric multi-purpose venue is available to hire for conferences, workshops and other events. We also have a recording studio suitable for a range of creative audio and visual projects!

Katumba facilitate a wide range of drumming workshops for schools, community centres, private parties, businesses, corporate environments and other organisations.
Katumba is run by a small staff team, who manage performances, workshops, activities and all the cogs of Katumba - with the support of many brilliant volunteers!
Created by Directors Ritchie Tunstall and native Brazilian Juliana Landim, Katumba is a community based drumming & movement project fostering mental & physical wellbeing.
