The Santa Dash Katumba Drumathon finished last Sunday, and with it our appeal to raise money for the children of Gaza.

We’d like to say a huge thank you / obrigada to everyone who contributed, shared and supported us.

We raised £1400+ for UNICEF’s Children of Gaza Crisis Appeal.

Here’s what your help contributed to:

• Water transportation to shelters serving an estimated 1 million people – half of whom are children.
• Medical supplies to 194,000 people including women, adolescent girls and newborns.
• Sanitation services via 30 solid waste containers and cleaning services in shelters, benefitting 26,000 people.
• Mental health support provided to over 2,900 people, including 2,600 children.
• Games and activities, provided through partners, for 11,110 children.
• Humanitarian cash transfers provided to 2,087 conflict-affected households.

Sadly however, we understand that despite all the help, 68% of needs are currently unfunded-and the cease-fire has been lifted so the situation worsens as temperatures drop.
